Day 3: Tuesday

This morning breakfast consisted of hamburgers and cereal. My roommate was surprised to hear that this was not typical in the US. Culture Shock can start with hamburgers. :)

Then it was off to visit 2 elementary schools. They were very clean, well organized, and stocked with materials (all in Korean). However, no A.C. as it is to costly. Here are some pictures of one of the schools and its roof top garden.

  1. No A.C. That's no fun -- then again, I hear that in public schools there is also no heating in the winter! And it can get really really cold in Korea.
